Deb McCloskey, CPCC, ACC – Inner Leadership LLC Owner and Founder

Transformational Coach & Mindfulness Teacher

"A layoff or career transition can shake more than your job title — it can shake your sense of who you are. I help professionals navigate career transitions with both practical support (a résumé and interview presence that actually reflects their value) and the deeper work underneath it — the stress, the self-doubt, the identity questions that surface when everything feels uncertain.

Many clients start here and stay for what comes next: reconnecting with what truly matters, breaking through the inner barriers holding them back, and building a more grounded, values-aligned life — wherever their career takes them."

You only have one precious life.

This work helps you honor it—fully, bravely, and intentionally.

About Deb

Deb began her professional journey as a scientist—earning her degree in Organic Chemistry and building a career in the pharmaceutical industry grounded in precision, inquiry, and evidence-based thinking.

But life, as it often does, brought a turning point.

Just before a major crisis involving one of her children, Deb discovered mindfulness. What began as a curiosity soon became a lifeline. The practices didn’t fix everything—but they helped her stay present through the chaos, breathe into uncertainty, and show up with a steadiness she hadn’t known was possible.

That experience changed her. It reshaped how she parented, how she worked, and how she related to herself. Mindfulness, she realized, wasn’t just about stress relief—it was about transformation.

In 2016, Deb completed advanced teacher training with UK-based mindfulness expert Shamash Alidina. Since then, she’s guided hundreds of individuals through her signature 9-week master class, Inner Leadership®, which blends mindfulness and self-compassion to foster clarity, resilience, and meaningful change.

As her work deepened, Deb felt called to support people in a more personalized way. She became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), supporting clients with practical tools and compassionate presence as they navigate change and reconnect with their inner clarity.

Today, she works with clients navigating burnout, transitions, and moments of feeling stuck—helping them reconnect with what truly matters and move toward lives that feel purposeful, spacious, and sustainable. She also continues to work full-time in pharmaceutical regulatory affairs alongside her coaching practice — so she isn't approaching the pressures, restructuring, and uncertainty many of her clients face from the outside. She's living inside the same industry, in real time.

Deb holds a special place in her heart for women balancing professional ambition with personal responsibility. She is passionate about helping them break through self-limiting beliefs and the internal glass ceilings that keep them from fully stepping into their power—guiding them to rediscover their passions and create empowering, values-aligned paths forward.

Whether in corporate, educational, or wellbeing settings—or through one-on-one coaching—Deb’s work invites transformation from the inside out.
